Since October 1947, the U.S. Air Force has been synonymous with speed in the air when it first broke the sound barrier. But with an aging fleet and rising numbers of DMSMS, there is a pressing need to rapidly deploy engineering solutions for the sustainment and infrastructure. In this challenge, nine teams competed to deliver a polymer additively manufactured replacement solution for rapid deployment of a F-16 aircraft component.
