For the past 11 years Chen Si has been patrolling this bridge, looking to provide aid for those who’ve gone there to end their lives. Incredibly, he has saved over 300 people since he began – nearly one every two weeks. The Angel of Nanjing documents the work of Chen Si.

Angel of Nanjing premiered March 27th 2015 at the Phoenix Film Festival, where it won Best Documentary and took home the first ever Sidney K. Shapiro humanitarian award. It also won Best Documentary at the Roving Eye Film Festival and the Long Island International Film Expo.

2. Painless

A narrative feature film. Written, shot and directed by Jordan Horowitz.

Henry Long, the central character of Painless, desperately seeks a cure for the condition that leaves him unable to feel physical pain.

Painless, is currently being showcased at film festivals.

It has already won awards:

2017: Won, New Vision Award. Cinequest, San Jose Film Festival.

2017: Won, Audience Award. Filmfestival Kitzbuehel.
