“My goals for 2021 are to continue the work on mentorship, and to focus on diversity and inclusion in our businesses and within our industry,” she said during comments at CRE.Converge Virtual 2020. “Meaningful connections, especially in these challenging times, are what will make the difference in whether we remain stagnant or grow.”

[On the current pandemic] “NAIOP has tremendous value during good times and bad. […] While we can’t predict with 100% certainty what’s to come next, we can commit to moving forward together. We are in this together, and we’ll come out of this even stronger, like we have in the past.”

She is a 13-year NAIOP member, having joined the organization in 2007. Throughout her membership, she has given his time as a member of the board, where she has led the government affairs and education committees, and served as secretary and vice chair of knowledge and research. She is a Research Foundation governor and serves on the Industry Trends Task Force. Carson previously served as president of the NAIOP Arizona chapter.

Carson brings over 15 years of experience to her role as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Market Leader for Ryan’s Southwest Region, in which she is responsible for the leadership of office, industrial, retail and health care real estate development teams and general business development efforts. She handles site selection and acquisition, municipal use permits and approvals, design and construction coordination, financial packaging and lease or sale negotiation, while working to mentor and cultivate a strong group of developers.
