The Art of the Zoom: Mastering Virtual Presentation Skills

In our current age of COVID-19, first impressions are made virtually. Truly connecting with others over a computer can be challenging, especially when you’ve never met that person before AND you’re coming together for an introductory meeting or job interview. This session will focus on all aspects Virtual Presentation Skills – from getting the tech, logistics and look just right, to using your voice and body to project confidence and power, to organizing your thoughts to ensure your critical points are received and understood. While our focus will be virtual, these skills work for in-person interactions and presentations too!

About Anne Green: Anne Green is a Principal & Managing Director of G&S Business Communications, overseeing the G&S New York office with responsibilities for ensuring client service excellence, talent development and business growth. A 25-year industry veteran, she also provides senior-level client counsel and executive-level training across multiple industry sectors. Before assuming her current role in 2018, Anne was president and CEO of CooperKatz & Company, the award-winning independent agency whose team she had helped to grow for 22 years prior to its acquisition by G&S.

About Jessica Chen: Jessica Chen is a Client Service Manager at G&S Business Communications, directing account teams across industries in professional services, technology, real estate and nonprofit organizations. She supports brands through engaging storytelling and relevant trends with a purpose to elevate thought leadership. Jessica is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and oversees the agency’s DEI culture committee.
